I'm a Stump Maker

Nothing and no one is safe from my stump making

You have probably noticed that chopping down trees in animal crossing leaves a stump. But what you may not know is that there are special stumps, like this stump I'm about to make…

Anyway, there are special stumps that you can find in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
Let me show you what stumps I currently have, and maybe we can make a few more stumps along the way...

There's  Redd's Leaf stump

A Butterfly stump

and an Animal Crossing Leaf stump

Those are the stumps that I have made so far.

Let's see if I can make a few more stumps right now.

Sometimes you have to sneak up on stumps...

And sometimes stumps beg for their life...

Anyway, now that I have collected a few more stumps let's see what I found...

There's a Heart stump

There are more stumps to discover, but let's see what benefits the stumps I found provide.

Besides looking pretty awesome, your villagers will also sit on the stumps

and sometimes even sleep on them...

But stumps also allow you to grow mushrooms. What? You don’t have mushrooms in your town?
Well, the only stumps that will grow mushrooms are the special stumps, and you are going to have to make a lot of stumps before you get a special stump. So pick up your ax and make some stumps!

Like I was saying, each special stump will grow mushrooms around them.

Some of the mushrooms are valuable

and others can be eaten to affect your character. Well, at least one can,

This mushroom will power up your character and make you grow large

The effect lasts literally one second.

So the rumors are true, I am a stump maker.
And perhaps now I've made you a stump maker too.
